In a few months we will travel to the Amazon rainforest and I can't resist buying things related to this region! 1. Carcassonne Amazone-> this one is for @mjpqr1983's birthday. During our student years we were totally addicted to carcassone, we own the first edition from 2001 which we play for already almost 15 years. But it is definitely time for a new version of Carcassone and this one looks very cool 😊🐒🐢🐍🐬🐜🌳. 2. A second hand book of Redmond O'Hanlon about his journey in the Amazon rainforest. I started reading this one, it is hillarious 😂😂😂. Love O'Hanlon. #introubleagain 3. A solar charger -> since we won't have electricity in the Amazon and we really want to make a few pictures 😊 4. Amazon by Bruce Parry -> I watched this documentary many years ago and want to see it again. Love his documentaries and focus on nature and native communities. 5. Tanja, a dutch girl in the FARC. Also a second hand book. This one is not about the Amazon but I am very interested in this story. We are going to Colombia too, close to the region where FARC was once active. Taking us on a journey to the Amazon In Trouble Again details O’Hanlon’s journey through uncharted rivers on a dugout canoe to Venezuelan Amazonia. Along the way he plans to “party” with the Yanomami tribe – reportedly one of the most violent on earth.
