One airport is seeking to help passengers avoid pre-flight jitters through kitten cuddles!
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina already offers 31 support dogs to help soothe anxious passengers, but have now decided to add fluffy kittens to the mix.

According to Travel+Leisure, the airport will occasionally host special Kitten Cuddle events as part of their TLC from CLT program. The first event took place on August 8 and featured 10 adorable kittens from CMPD Animal Care and Control for anxious passengers to pet and cuddle. As an extra bonus it helped two of the rescue kitties find forever homes!

This isn’t the first time kittens have been used to help alleviate passenger nerves. Denver International and Calgary International have also offered kitten cuddles at their airports.
