And The Top Ten Best Airlines in the World Are…

TripAdvisor has just named the top ten best airlines in the world as part of their ‘Traveler’s Choice Awards’ for 2019.

The winners were determined using an algorithm that calculated the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings submitted by TripAdvisor users over a 12 month period.
The best of the best list was dominated by Asian airline companies, who took four of the top ten spots with Singapore Airlines claiming the number one position for the second year in a row with reviewers complimenting Singapore’s stellar service, choice of entertainment on board, delicious food and new, comfortable planes.
For U.S. travelers, Southwest Airlines was the big winner coming in at number 6 for best airlines in the world. Southwest also topped the top ten list for best U.S. airlines for the second year in a row and placed top in the “Best Economy” and “Best Low-Cost Airline” categories.

The Top Ten Best Airlines in the World, according to TripAdvisor, are:

1. Singapore Airlines
2. Qatar Airways
3. EVA Air
4. Emirates
5. Japan Airlines
6. Southwest Airlines
7. Azul
8. Air New Zealand
9. Jet2.com
10. All Nippon Airways (ANA)
