News from Disney reveals the company is preparing for the coronavirus pandemic to continue impacting theme parks by canceling two very popular holiday events.

Disney announced on their blog they will be canceling Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Candlelight Processional at EPCOT amid coronavirus concerns.
“We know these experiences are a cherished part of holiday traditions that will be missed by guests and cast members alike, but we’re glad to be able to bring holiday magic in other creative ways,” Disney wrote on their official blog, revealing they plan to still celebrate the holiday season with their world-famous decor adorning the various theme parks and Disney hotels.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic will also put a halt to Disney’s gingerbread displays, but guests at the theme parks will still be able to see elves, reindeer, gingerbread men, and of course, Santa Claus himself!
