Disneyland Hikes Ticket Prices for Second Time in 13 Months

For the first time in its 65-year history, Disneyland has raised its one-day ticket prices above $200.

The California theme-park had its second price hike in 13 months this week, with Disneyland announcing the unveiling of a new five-tier pricing system with one-day ticket prices ranging from $104 on low-demand days to $209 (up from $154) for entry to Disneyland and nearby California Adventure on high-demand days, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Annual passes to the park also underwent a price hike, with the Select Price increasing from $399 to $499 and the Premier Pass jumping from $1,949 to $2,199. The Max Pass, which allows park visitors to skip ride lines through a digital reservation, increased from $15 to $20.

“A visit to our parks is the best value in entertainment bar none, and we offer flexible choices to enable families to choose what’s best for them,” Disneyland spokeswoman Liz Jaeger said in a statement reported by the Los Angeles Times.
