Japan announced it will be loosening its entry ban for people from 106 countries – but don’t start packing your suitcase just yet.

According to Lonely Planet, Japan’s Foreign Ministry announced it will lift the ban on 106 countries, including the United States and the UK. Unfortunately, visitors from these countries will still be denied entry if they want to travel for tourism purposes.

Lonely Planet reports students, business travelers and foreigners entering Japan for a long-term stay may visit Japan, but sadly, tourists may not.
