Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport is about to get a new name.

The busy hub will soon be named Harry Reid International Airport after U.S. Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada.

According to USA Today, there have been longstanding calls to rename the airport, which is currently named after Nevada Sen. Patrick McCarran who served as one of Nevada’s two senators from 1933 until his death in 1954. Although McCarran was known for his contributions to aviation, he also was known for his anti-immigration and anti-Semitic views.
“It is with humility that I express my appreciation for the recognition today. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Commissioner Segerblom, the entire Clark County Commission, and the many others who have played a part in this renaming,” Sen. Reid said in a statement reported by USA Today.

USA Today reports the Federal Aviation Administration expects the new name to go into effect within a few months.
