The award-winning Mountain Lake Lodge, where the iconic movie
Dirty Dancing was filmed 36 years ago, has unveiled its 2024 “Dirty Dancing Weekends” schedule.
The themed weekends allow
Dirty Dancing fans to transport themselves back to Kellerman’s lodge, where Baby and Johnny fell in love in the hit 1987 classic movie.
“Dirty Dancing Weekends are an opportunity to go back to where the magic began,” said Heidi Stone, president and CEO, Mountain Lake Lodge. “Guests will discover that Mountain Lake Lodge is a real destination steeped in history and offers a special experience, whether they are Dirty Dancing aficionados, hikers or mountain bikers, or just want to relax and get away.”
The movie features several resort venues, including Stone Lodge, which boasts a grand stone hearth and breathtaking mountain views. Adjacent is Harvest Restaurant and patio, where main characters “Johnny” and “Baby” meet for the first time. Fans can also check out the gazebo used for salsa lessons and Baby’s Cabin, the fictional Houseman family home. Mountain Lake Lodge was the dwelling place of the cast and crew, including celebrities Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, and Jerry Orbach.
If you’re planning to stay at the resort for at least two nights, you can avail of the “Kellerman’s Film Package” which celebrates
Dirty Dancing. This offer is available on most dates throughout the year, subject to availability. The package includes a welcome cocktail served in a souvenir Kellerman’s glass, a screening of the movie, a themed scavenger hunt, a dining credit worth $200, and an exclusive gift bag.
