With travel reopening it’s no wonder many of us are itching to take a vacation, but the third annual “America’s Best Cities for a Quickie” index from Hotwire shows many of us are actually just looking to take a quick, short break.
According to Hotwire’s findings, an astonishing 83 percent of those surveyed are looking for quick, spontaneous trips to satiate their travel urges.
Those surveyed revealed short breaks are easier to plan but allow us to take more trips and, most importantly, have more money to spend on our quick two to three-night vacay.
Hotwire’s “America’s Best Cities for a Quickie” survey found that travelers are looking for MORE when it comes to taking those quick breaks, such as 4 and 5-star hotels, luxury amenities, and a good choice of activities.
