A new survey has found Americans are still optimistic about getting the chance to travel in 2020, despite the coronavirus pandemic currently thwarting any vacation plans.

The study, conducted by LuggageHero, found that a whopping 75 percent of Americans said they will continue to travel in 2020.

According to TravelPulse, 77 percent of respondents said they would stick to their plans to travel between June and December 2020 as long as their hometowns or destinations were not under quarantine orders.

56 percent of those surveyed said they already had plans to travel between June and December booked. Of those 56 percent, 42 percent said they would not be changing their travel plans.

TravelPulse reports nearly half of those surveyed said they were still planning on traveling abroad, while 44 percent said they would change their international destination to a domestic one.

Of those surveyed by LuggageHero, only 8 percent of travelers worldwide said they would not travel at all in 2020.
