Norwegian Cruise Line has announced they are canceling sailings through July and won’t embark on any new cruises until at least August.
“Your safety is our #1 priority – both on and off our ships,” the company announced via Twitter. “We have made the decision to further suspend cruise voyages across our fleet through July 31, 2020. Despite this further delay, we remain optimistic and expect to launch cruise operations in the near future.”

“Given the fluid and evolving nature of the circumstances, we are making decisions as quickly and thoughtfully as possible and, as always, we are keeping our guests’ and travel partners’ best interests at heart,” NCL shared. “We are very sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause.”

According to the Points Guy, Norwegian is one of the last major cruise lines to cancel sailings in July with Princess Cruises and Holland America recently canceling most of the sailings until well into the fall.

Carnival Cruise Line also canceled July sailings, saying they hope to resume in August with a few of their ships. Disney Cruise Lines have also canceled their July voyages.

Norwegian Cruise Line passengers booked on the July sailings are asked to contact their travel agent or the cruise line for more information.
