Norwegian Cruise Line Extends Suspension of Cruises Through October

Norwegian Cruise Line announced plans to extend the suspension of its cruises through October 2020.

According to TravelPulse, Norwegian Cruise Line, which operates Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises, will extend the suspension of all of its global cruise voyages scheduled to sail between August 1 and September 30, 2020.

Additionally, “select cruises, including Canada and New England sailings, will also be canceled through October 2020, owing to ongoing port and travel restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” TravelPulse reports.
The suspension does not apply to Seattle-based Alaska voyages scheduled to sail in September 2020.

According to CruiseRadio, “Guests who had reservations on the impacted cruises will automatically receive a 125 percent Future Cruise Credit of the amount paid, with that credit being delivered on June 25. The credit is good for one year from the date of issue on any sailing embarking through 2022.”

“Those not opting for the credit may instead ask for a full refund to their original form of payment.”
