Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Jet to Caribbean for Wedding

Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle have made their first official outing as a couple.

Jetting off to the sunny climates of the Caribbean, the two attended the wedding of Harry’s school friend Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip and Laura Hughes-Young over the weekend.

The Jamaican wedding was held in the iconic tropical paradise of Montego Bay. Prince Harry flew in alongside high security, whilst the Suits actress flew in separately from Toronto. It is rumored they stayed at the ultra-luxurious Round Hill Hotel and Resort.

The Round Hill Hotel and Resort is set on 110 acres of lush, Caribbean land and boasts suites designed by Ralph Lauren. Built in the 1950’s as a tropical getaway for the rich and famous, the resort boasts its own private bay. The resort is so famous for being a romantic getaway that JFK and Jackie Kennedy spent their honeymoon there. Other famous guests include Sir Paul McCartney, Grace Kelly and Emma Watson. According to the Daily Mail Harry and Meghan stayed in a $5,000 per night suite.

The Jamaican location may have brought flashbacks for Markle – she married her first husband, Trevor Engleson – at a resort not too far away back in 2011.
