Spain to Require Booster Shot for Travelers

American tourists heading to Spain will soon need to show proof of a booster shot in order in order to vacation in the country.

According to Travel+Leisure, beginning February 1, visitors to Spain will need to show proof of a booster shot if their last date of covid vaccination is more than 270 days prior to arrival. Travelers will have to wait at least 14 days after their booster dose to enter the country.
TravelAgentCentral reports travelers heading to Spain are required to fill out a health control form prior to departure by visiting the Spain Travel Health portal and must undergo a health check at their first entry point in the country, including a temperature check.
