Want to take a family beach vacay this year, but unsure where to go? Travel insurance site InsureMyTrip has taken the hard work out of it and compiled a list of the best international and domestic beach destinations for families.

InsureMyTrip looked at several criteria in determining their finds, including sea temps, wave heights, ocean current strength, quality of family hotels, nearby attractions, and area safety.
When it came to international family-friendly beach destinations, Dubai came out tops with InsureMyTrip revealing, “Dubai ranks as the most family-friendly spring beach vacation destination. In recent years Dubai has become a haven for theme parks, encouraging families looking for an adventure. For a more relaxed vacation, Dubai also features stunning sandy beaches for all members of the family to enjoy. The warm water is considered ideal for novice swimmers and small children as the waves are very low and the ocean current is weak. The latest research by Numbeo also ranks it the 8th safest city in the world, according to its 2022 safety index.”
San Diego ranked number 1 for the most family-friendly beach destination in the USA thanks to the various activities for children and its 70 miles of gorgeous coastline.

According to InsureMyTrip, these are the top ten international beach destinations for family vacations:

3. Turks and Caicos
4. Barbados
5. Corfu, Greece
6. Faro, Portugal
7. Phuket, Thailand
