The Surprising Number One Destination for Remote Working

Americans looking for the best city in the world to work remotely luckily won’t even need a passport.

Kansas City, Missouri, has just been named the best place for working remotely – beating out other top contenders such as Copenhagen in Denmark and the Scottish city of Edinburgh.

To create the ranking, Icelandair surveyed more than 150 cities worldwide and looked at several criteria to compile its list, including internet speed, air pollution, health care, safety, and the cost of living.

Kansas City, Missouri, came out tops in the survey, allowing remote workers to explore the city’s vibrant arts, jazz, and bbq scene, together with a city chock full of shopping and museum experiences.
