Although most Americans aren’t able to travel internationally just yet, that hasn’t stopped them from researching global destinations they want to visit once the coronavirus pandemic subsides.

According to TripAdvisor, people have been busy planning their next vacation, looking at locations close to home and further afield, as they dream of packing their suitcases and taking a much-needed dream getaway – and have found ten destinations that travel-starved vacationers want to visit.

TripAdvisor’s ‘Top Ten Emerging Destinations in the World’ showcases the spots with the greatest year-over-year increase in “saves” on TripAdvisor around the world. According to TripAdvisor, these emerging destinations are different in that they are places people are dreaming of while stuck at home – and where they may go next.

The ‘Top Ten Emerging Destinations in the World’ according to TripAdvisor are:

1. Martinique
Located in the Caribbean, the island of Martinique exudes a distinctive French air, whilst incorporating a West Indies vibe with beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

2. Panama City Beach, Florida, USA
With over 27 miles of sandy beaches and practically year-round sunshine, Panama City Beach isn’t just for Spring Breakers anymore! The area is a firm favorite for those looking for a beach getaway at an affordable price.

3. Armacao dos Buzios, Brazil
