National Geographic have released their destinations on the rise list for next year, divided into five different categories – Adventure, Culture and History, Nature, Family, and Sustainability.

While some of the destinations are places we all know and love, a few will be new to some travelers, with National Geographic sharing, “The joy of travel comes from the unexpected.
