Insurly took a look at data from countries across the globe to compile their “2020 Ranking of the World’s Safest Countries” which included criteria such as frequency of natural disasters, quality of each country’s healthcare system, and levels of violent crime and terrorist threats.
According to Insurly, Switzerland is the world’s safest travel destination with the company noting the alpine country’s excellent score for transport risk.

According to Insurly’s “2020 Ranking of the World’s Safest Countries” these destinations made the top ten list:

1. Switzerland
2. Singapore
3. Norway
4. Luxembourg
5. Cyprus
6. Iceland
7. Denmark
8. Portugal
9. Finland
10. Japan

The unsafest country in the world, according to Insurly is South Sudan, followed closely by the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic.
