Traveling to Italy? You No Longer Need a COVID Test

Vaccinated travelers will no longer need to show proof of a negative COVID test in order to visit Italy.

Effective March 1, international travelers will be able to enter the country test-free if they have been fully vaccinated within nine months or received a booster shot, Travel+Leisure reports.

Unvaccinated travelers will still need to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of their arrival, or show proof they have recovered from COVID-19 within the past six months.

Regardless of vaccination status, all international arrivals must fill out a passenger locator form before entering the country.
