What to Wear: EDC Festival Fashion Inspiration
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) 2022 in Las Vegas is THE place to be for all you ravers. But, as with any event, the biggest question is always what should I wear? Don’t worry. We have you covered! This year EDC Las Vegas is being held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Friday, May 20th – to Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. The three-day event is an eye-candy spectacle. Insomniac is bringing IT! Amazing sounds, lights, and bright colors! From dusk to dawn, all your senses will be engaged!
Neon and Reflective
What’s a rave without neon and reflective ware? Neon is a fantastic way to express your inner crazy. They will make your EDC experience memorable and vibrant, from neon bodysuits to neon rave sets! Reflective ware just adds that bit of shine. Mix and match and create an unforgettable outfit.
Prints
Who doesn’t want a little sparkle in their life? Incorporate rhinestones and sequins into your outfits or even add glimmer and shine to your face. Show-stopping rhinestone sunglass? Why not! At EDC, express your twinkle any way.
Rhinestones and Sparkles
Don’t underestimate the power of a black outfit at EDC. Black can ground your look and make you look like a badass. Elevate the look of a black outfit by pairing it with knee-high boots or a pop of color. Add unique details such as a buckle element or sheer tops to add texture. The choices are unlimited!
Black
Out of Brooklyn, flexing became a style of dance that EDM adopted. The softer moves are enjoyable to watch, but the more hardcore contortionism is flexing at its best. This one isn’t for beginners (unless you have a background in dance, gymnastics or contorting), so don’t just get out on the EDC dancefloor and flex out. You’re going to want to stretch first!
Fishnets
Fishnets are a great way to complete a look, and they are so versatile. Add black fishnets to create texture in your outfit, or add neon fishnets to add a pop of color. They come in various styles such as leggings, crop tops or gloves.
Butterfly
Who doesn’t love butterflies? The color in their wings and their natural beauty inspire EDC. Incorporate butterflies into your outfit with accessories such as hairpins, or get a pair of your very own butterfly wings! A butterfly print can be a great way to go if not into accessories.
Feather or Fur
Feather and fur add that bit of fun texture to your outfits. Get fur trim outfits or fur boots, add feathers to your hair or jewelry; the possibilities are endless.
Mesh/Shear
Mesh and Shear wear is an excellent way for those experimenting with their comfort level. It looks sexy, and you can control how much you want to show. Add it as a layering component, and you can create different looks.

What’s kandi you ask? Well they are brightly colored bracelets made out of pony beads or stones. Kandi is a unique part of rave culture and is made to be given away as a symbol of PLUR culture – peace, love, unity, and respect. Nowadays Kandi is used to describe anything that is beaded.
