Nicaraguan tour operator ORO Travel wants to express their gratitude to healthcare workers who have been working on the frontlines of the global coronavirus pandemic, by launching a contest to win a free vacation!
According to TravelPulse, ORO Travel is offering a free eight-day, seven-night vacation to one healthcare worker plus one guest once the coronavirus crisis subsides and travel restrictions are lifted.
The free vacation includes hotel stays, ground transportation and most additional activities, TravelPulse reports, although flights to and from the destination are not included.
“Nicaragua is more than just a place to go on holiday and a beautiful country but also a destination that supports local people, small businesses and rural communities,” shared ORO Travel. “A new model of tourism is certain to emerge as the world comes out of this crisis, which will prioritize well-being, equity, hygiene and health security, a long-term oriented sustainability and fair pricing. Reinventing a new normal in the travel industry for the sake of people and the planet means taking care of biodiversity, putting people first, no mass tourism, low carbon emissions, and creating safe, authentic and meaningful experiences for the traveler.”
If you are a healthcare worker or would like to nominate a healthcare worker who would enjoy a free holiday in Nicaragua, simply visit ORO Travel at http://www.orotravel.com/tours-and-travel/promotions/. Contest runs through July 15, 2020.
