Carnival Cruise Line passengers will soon get to experience a gorgeous new private destination on the island of Grand Bahama in the Bahamas.
The cruise line just gave fans an update on what to expect on Celebration Key, which is slated to open in July 2025.
According to
USA Today, Celebration Key will comprise five different areas called portals, which will be home to a myriad of activities, dining and shopping – and each portal will appeal to different age groups.
The family-friendly portal will be home to a freshwater lagoon featuring waterslides, a splash pad, cabana rentals, and beach loungers.
Meanwhile, the adults-only portal will feature an infinity pool, a private stretch of beach, and a retail section that offers duty-free shopping!
Carnival revealed the new destination will have a special pavilion capable of hosting weddings and vow renewals – and there are plans to add a water park and zipline in the future!
“No one does fun like Carnival and we are designing Celebration Key, and its five portals, with endless ways for our guests to unlock their own kind of fun in this incredible paradise that also celebrates the beauty of Grand Bahama,” Christine Duffy, the line’s president, said in a news release. “Celebration Key is uniquely positioned to bring an island experience to our diverse range of guests, in a way that lets them choose their slice of ‘paradise.'”
