For the seventh consecutive year,
U.S. News & World Report has recognized the Delta SkyMiles program as a top performer in the annual ranking of airline loyalty programs.
Delta has once again outperformed all other global airlines and secured the second position overall among the ten most prominent U.S. airlines.
In previous years,
U.S. News considered five aspects of flight travel in its ranking: airline quality ratings, ease of earning a free round-trip flight, network coverage, added benefits, and flight volume. However, a sixth criterion was added this year: award flight availability. Delta offers Award Tickets on all its flights with no blackout dates, and members can even earn towards Medallion Status when they take their well-deserved Award Travel on Delta-operated flights.
Delta’s SkyMiles program has continued to innovate with recent changes and improvements, including:
* Industry-leading fast, free onboard Wi-Fi available the moment Members enroll in the program.
* Expanded self-service capabilities for applying the Medallion-favorite Global and Regional Upgrade
Certificates.
* Enhanced recognition for the most loyal customers by increasing in-person Million Miler recognition
and debuting new Million Miler gifts.
* Launching new partnerships with other beloved brands like Starbucks so that Members can earn miles on
coffee purchases and Double Stars on Delta travel days.
