Disney has announced the opening date for the much-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will officially open to thrill-seekers on May 27, 2022 – Memorial Weekend!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be Epcot’s first-ever rollercoaster – and the attraction will also feature the first reverse launch on a coaster in Disney history and one of the longest enclosed coasters in the world!

“Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a family-friendly adventure, featuring a totally new type of roller coaster experience we’re developing just for this attraction – it’s a storycoaster that rotates 360 degrees so you’re always focused on all the action as you help the Guardians save the galaxy,” Disney Parks revealed of the Marvel-themed ride.
According to The Points Guy, the Cosmic Rewind show building is so huge that four Spaceship Earths could fit inside.

The rollercoaster will be located in Epcot’s newly renamed “World Discovery” neighborhood – the first “other world” showcase pavilion at the park.
