For the first time ever, guests at Disney’s Magic Kingdom will be allowed to wear Halloween costumes inside the park this year.

Although there won’t be an official Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Orlando-based theme park is still making sure guests can get in the festive Halloween spirit.
Disney announced beginning September 15 until October 31, Main Street will get a full Fall makeover and guests will be allowed to don their favorite Halloween costume – provided they also wear a COVID-19 face mask.

Adults can’t wear full-length princess dresses, or capes that touch the ground, and people over the age of 14 will not be allowed to wear a costume mask.

Disney World has previously banned adults and guests over the age of 13 from wearing costumes during regular operating hours, except during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
