Disney to Unveil Pandora: The World of Avatar

Beginning May 27 Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be unveiling a brand new experience for its visitors called Pandora: The World of Avatar.
The new 12-acre land will feature a river boat ride called the Na’vi River Journey, a 3-D simulator ride called Flight of Passage.
On Flight of Passage, riders will ‘fly on the back of a mountain banshee during an exhilarating 3-D ride over this vast moon.”
The Na’vi River Journey promises to “journey deep into a bioluminescent rainforest in search of the Na’vi Shaman of Songs.”
In the Valley of Mo’ara feature, guests can “hike amid floating mountains, glowing fauna & flora, a native drum circle and more.”

The World of Avatar is based on James Cameron’s Avatar film series and will also feature retail, food and beverage outlets.
