Hobie® Introduces New Line of Pedal Boards

The traditional stand-up paddleboards are looking a little different these days. Hobie®, known for its outdoor water sport products, introduced the first line of stand-up pedal boards.

Instead of individuals using a paddle to propel themselves through the water, a foot pedal system is used to cruise through the waterway. The boards are equipped with handlebars used for steering.

Hobie® introduced two versions, Hobie Mirage® Eclipse 10.5 and the Hobie Mirage® Eclipse 12.

The Hobie Mirage® Eclipse 10.5 will cost you about $2,499 and the Hobie Mirage® Eclipse 12 runs for $2,599.
