JetBlue has announced delays to their much-anticipated Boston to London Flights due to aircraft delivery delays.

According to the PointsGuy, JetBlue’s Boston to London Gatwick route will now begin on August 4 (it was initially scheduled for July 19). The Boston to London Heathrow route has been pushed back to September 20, from its original launch date of August 22.
“Two aircraft scheduled for delivery this summer – which offer greater range than standard A321 aircraft in JetBlue’s fleet – are on order specifically to operate transatlantic routes from Boston, and JetBlue was recently notified by Airbus that their delivery will be delayed,” JetBlue said in a statement reported by CBS.

Passengers already booked on the delayed flights will be rebooked onto flights to London connecting through New York’s JFK airport or offered refunds.
