Margaritaville at Sea is offering the ultimate deal for teachers – a $49 cruise to the Bahamas!
According to
USA Today, the cruise line is running a “Back to School, Back to Sea” sale, offering $49 fares for educators and their guests on Bahamas cruises.
Teachers can now enjoy a complimentary sailing experience, while one other guest in their cabin can benefit from a discounted fare. In addition, current and former members of the U.S. military, government employees, and police, fire, and EMS personnel can also take advantage of this offer.
“With school back in session, Margaritaville at Sea is sending a special thanks to teachers, support staff and employees by offering an incredible rate to enjoy a quick getaway to the Caribbean,” the cruise line said in a press release reported by
USA Today.
Educators can enjoy a $49 fare for an interior stateroom on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise ship, which boasts 658 cabins for a limited time. The two-night cruise will take passengers round-trip from Palm Beach, Florida to Grand Bahama Island. The $49 fare is valid for Sunday-Wednesday departures, while Thursday-Saturday sailings cost $99.
According to
USA Today, passengers can opt to upgrade to an Ocean View stateroom for an additional fee. Taxes, fees, and port expenses are not included in the fare and will need to be paid by each guest. Eligibility for this offer will be verified through the GovX e-commerce site.
The booking deadline for this deal is August 28th, with a blackout date on September 2.
