Ever fancied working remotely on a gorgeous Caribbean island? According to one new incentive your dreams could come true!

According to Insider, Barbados is launching a new program which would allow visitors to move to the island nation for one year and work remotely.
The “12-month Barbados Welcome Stamp” was announced by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley in a speech where she revealed the incentive would allow “persons to come and work from here overseas, digitally so, so that persons don’t need to remain in the countries in which they are.”

Although the incentive’s details have yet to be approved and finalized, according to Insider the “idea behind the concept is that as short-term travel is becoming increasingly difficult, a 12-month stamp would make the trip more worthwhile. It would also bring much-needed tourism dollars to the island.”

Barbados plans to reopen to tourists on July 12.
