Norwegian Cruise Lines Cancels Stops in Russia due to Ukraine Invasion

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has canceled stops in Russia and the surrounding area due to the Ukraine invasion.
According to Travel+Leisure, the changes affect passengers aboard Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Oceania Cruises, which have all canceled stops in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. Regent Seven Seas have removed the Solovetsky Islands, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, and Odessa, Ukraine from its itineraries.
“Due to the escalated situation between Russia and Ukraine we have made the decision to modify the course of your upcoming voyage and will be removing St. Petersburg, Russia from the itinerary,” Travel+Leisure reports Norwegian updated guests in a letter. “We are currently working to confirm a revised itinerary and will provide updates once we have more information.”

“The safety and security of guests, crew and communities we visit is our top priority,” a spokesperson for Norwegian told Travel+Leisure, adding the cruise line is working to confirm replacement ports for St. Petersburg.
