New Report Ranks the World’s 10 Busiest Airports

A new report from Airports Council International, an organization of airport authorities based in Canada, has ranked the world’s ten busiest airports – and the number one spot went to a United States hub.
According to Travel Off Path, the Airports Council International gathered data from 2022, 2021, and 2019 and analyzed global passenger traffic.
Data showed that 2022’s global passenger traffic increased by 51.7 percent compared to 2021.
The top ten busiest airports represent 10 percent of global air traffic, with Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at number one.
According to Travel Off Path, the report found these are the top ten busiest airports in the world:
1. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Atlanta, USA 2. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, USA 3. Denver International Airport, USA 4. Chicago O’Hare International Airport, USA 5. Dubai International Airport, UAE 6. Los Angeles International Airport, USA 7. Istanbul Airport, Turkey 8. London Heathrow Airport, UK 9. Indira Gandhi International Airport, India 10. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, France
