A passenger at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport had multiple weapons confiscated on Monday, including nunchucks and sai swords, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
A photo shared by TSA Northeast spokesperson Lisa Farbstein shows the sai swords, nunchucks and knife that agents found in the passengers carryon bag.
“Clown move on the part of the traveler. He should have packed them in a checked bag,” Farbstein tweeted alongside the photo.
The TSA allows cutting weapons such as knives and swords in checked luggage as long as they are properly wrapped or sheathed. Blunt weapons such as nunchucks are also permitted in checked luggage.
