The Busiest Thanksgiving Travel Day to Avoid

If you’re planning on flying this Thanksgiving holiday you may want to avoid the Sunday following Thanksgiving Thursday.

Airlines for America is out with their travel predictions for this year’s turkey holiday and they estimate 2.88 million people will take to the skies on Sunday November 26.

For those wishing to try and make the busy Thanksgiving holiday period a little more relaxing, travel experts recommend extending your Thanksgiving stay and traveling home on either the Monday, or Tuesday of the following week.

Airlines for America predicts a record-breaking 28.5 million people will fly on a U.S airline between Friday November 17 and Tuesday November 28 – up 3% from last year!
