For travelers looking to enjoy some of Belize’s gorgeous wildlife, you can spend a couple of nights in a remote jungle outpost, canoe down the Macal, Sitee, and Belize Rivers, or take a relaxing tour of Belize’s spacious interior.

Belize’s coral reef is second only in size to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and offers more than 100 different types of coral. SCUBA divers and snorkelers get to experience a variety of sea life, including sea turtles and whale sharks.

What’s a vacation without indulging in some delicious local cuisine? Belize offers tourists the chance to taste some seriously great local seafood such as sea bass, lobster, shrimp, conch and swordfish. The interior of the country is renowned for its fresh fruit and veggies and the country is a major exporter of oranges and grapefruit.
