Enjoy a budget-friendly day of natural beauty this Saturday by visiting one of the nation’s state parks for free!

Saturday marks the first day of national park week and to celebrate all parks that charge an entrance fee will be waiving the cost to visit.
Although entrance fees will be waived on Saturday, park goers will still have to pay for costs associated with camping, activities, tours and transportation.

National Park Week runs from Saturday, April 17 through Sunday, April 25 and parks across the nation will host a variety of special events, programs and digital experiences. There will also be special theme days throughout the week to highlight the different ways people can enjoy national parks.
To kickoff National Park Week, the National Park Service is inviting everyone to participate in a Twitter chat on April 16 at 1 p.m. ET where you can learn about the national parks, conservationism, the new NPS app and more! Simply visit the NPS’s Twitter handle at @NatlParkService.
