VIVA Cruises Launches its First LGBTQ+ River Cruise in Europe

VIVA Cruises has announced the launch of its first-ever “LGBTQ+ & Friends” river cruise in the Netherlands and Belgium.
According to a press release shared with Breaking Travel News, the cruise will take place from 28 February to 3 March 2024, and the 4-night itinerary will explore the cities of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam – all in a relaxed LGBTQ+ friendly environment.
The five-day journey will take place on board the VIVA MOMENTS vessel and the cruise will start and end in Antwerp, home to chic independent fashion houses and museums. On day two, guests will be able to explore the Dutch city of Rotterdam, known for its modern architecture and creative scene. On days three and four, VIVA MOMENTS will dock overnight in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. There will also be the opportunity to visit the IHLIA LGBTI Heritage – the world’s largest archive on LGBTQ+ history – before exploring Amsterdam’s nightlife, famous for its LGBTQ+ bars and clubs.
Costs for the “LGBTQ+ & Friends” cruise start at $795 per person and feature VIVA’s all-inclusive offerings: *All meals onboard including breakfast buffet, lunch, dinner (multi-course gourmet menus, served at the table) and snacks with free choice of table and flexible meal times. *Welcome Aboard cocktail reception & Captain’s Farewell gala dinner. *Non-alcoholic beverages including mineral water, soft drinks, juices, a variety of coffee specialities, tea, cocoa. *All-day selection of alcoholic beverages (sparkling wine, Aperol, white wine, red wine, rosé, champagne, various beers, long drinks, cocktails, spirits, liqueurs). *High Tea: once per cruise a fine selection of sweet and savory delicacies for example scones, sandwiches, cupcakes, chocolates, macarons and diverse teas. *Well-stocked minibar in the cabin *Welcome bottle of sparkling wine *Reusable water bottle *All gratuities and WI-FI *Complimentary state-of-the-art audio headsets for all optional shore excursions.
