Disney Guests Will Now Need a Reservation to Enter Parks

With Disney World announcing they plan to embark on a phased reopening of their Orlando parks in July, the company will be putting into place several measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

These will include the use of face masks by employees and guests, temperature checks and – most importantly – a reservation to get inside the parks.
According to WESHOrlando, Walt Disney World officials announced that guests will need to obtain a reservation for park entry when the theme parks reopen in July.

The reservation system will help make sure the parks operate at a limited capacity and, as of now, new ticket sales have been paused together with Disney Resort hotel reservations (unless you are a Disney Vacation Club Member).

WESH reports the move will allow Disney to focus on guests with existing reservations and tickets. Annual passholders and existing ticket holders will be able to make reservation requests in phases before new tickets are sold.
