Frontier Airlines Eliminates Customer Service Phone Lines

Frontier Airlines is going completely digital and eliminating live customer-service phone reps.

As of today, if you need to speak to a live representative to book, change, or cancel your Frontier flight, you will have to go through the Denver-based airline’s website.

“Our Customer Care function recently transitioned to fully digital communications, which enables us to ensure our customers get the information they need as expeditiously and efficiently as possible,” Frontier told USA Today, adding the gradual transition to digital was completed last weekend.

“If live agent support is needed, we have live chat available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week,” Frontier told the news outlet. “Customers may also chat with us via common social media channels and WhatsApp.”

According to NPR, Frontier revealed that most customers prefer online communication.
