Is This Really the Worst Tourist Spot in America?

America – it’s the land of truly great tourist spots. From the beaches of Hawaii and Florida to the majestic Grand Canyon, Alaska’s snowy peaks, and the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple, the great US of A has a lot to offer travelers from across the world.

But there is one tourist spot which apparently has gained notoriety for being less than stellar and, according to global luggage storage network Stasher, that place is the Hollywood Walk of Fame in L.A.
According to The Active Times, Stasher conducted a study that ranked 99 over-hyped spots by their Google and TripAdvisor reviews. The locations were ranked by the quality of local lodgings, safety and security, ease of access and Instagram engagement.

Unfortunately, the Hollywood Walk of Fame beat out Times Square and Pier 39 in San Francisco as being the worst tourist destination in America thanks to the prevalence of pick-pocketing and the array of seedy hotels near the vicinity.
