Royal Caribbean’s Latest Cruise Terminal to Open This Fall

Royal Caribbean’s latest cruise terminal is set to open this fall and will bring one of the world’s largest cruise ships to Galveston, Texas.

According to CruiseFever, the newest state-of-the-art terminal will be the home of an Oasis-class ship, docking in Galveston for the first time. The $125 million terminal will feature mobile check-in and facial recognition to make checking in for that dream cruise much easier.
Allure of the Seas will sail from Galveston beginning November 13, 2022, on seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean. The vessel will also offer shorter four and five-night sailings from Galveston.

“Finally, the game-changing Oasis Class meets Texas pride,” Royal Caribbean announced on its website. “Dial up the thrills on Allure of the Seas the biggest, boldest ship to ever sail from the Lone Star State. Hang ten on the FlowRider surf simulator, indulge in gourmet globetrotting with 19 restaurants to choose from and enjoy nights packed with jaw-droppingly good entertainment on stage, ice, air and water. All while sailing to the best sun-soaked shores of Cozumel, Puerto Costa Maya and Roatán.”
