The votes are in and two airlines have topped the list of best airlines in the United States.

According to USA Today, a new J.D. Power survey of more than 7,000 travelers found Southwest and JetBlue are firm favorites among Americans.

Southwest Airlines is the best airline in the country for economy and basic economy flights according to the J.D Power 2022 North America Airline Satisfaction Survey. JetBlue Airways ranked second for economy and basic economy flights and Delta Airways came in third.

JetBlue topped the list for premium economy, business, and first-class in the survey.

This year’s survey also found average airfares rose by 20 percent due to rising fuel costs and increased customer demand.
