The most magical place on earth will soon offer vegan park goers more food options, with the company announcing they are introducing a plant-based menu.
Disney shared the tasty news on its blog, revealing vegan options will be available at all of its restaurants and quick-meal hubs at Walt Disney World in Florida, and Disneyland Resort in California.
The vegan options will not contain any animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey. The menu offerings will be made from vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, and nuts.
Visitors to the park will be able to identify the plant-based meal options by a green-leaf icon on the menus.
“We’re always looking for ways to bring more flavor, innovation, and creativity to the Disney dining experience – and guest feedback is first on the menu when we evolve our menus and develop new dishes,” Disney revealed on their blog. “Our guests have embraced our plant-based offerings at our parks around the globe, inspiring us to expand our menu and introduce a new menu icon, a green leaf, that will make it easier than ever to find these creations during your visit.”
According to Disney, the plant-based menu options will be available at all Walt Disney World parks and hotels in Orlando starting next week. The plant-based menu is expected to debut at California’s Disneyland Resort next Spring.
So far the plant-based options look absolutely scrumptious with offerings such as Chili-Spiced Crispy Tofu Bowl, Steamed Asian Dumplings, Shiriki Noodle Salad, and Plant-Based Cashew Cheesecake being some of the menu items announced for Walt Disney World.
