A woman is recovering after having her leg amputated following an incident at an airport in Bangkok, Thailand.
According to USA Today, the 57-year-old Thai woman was traveling through Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok when her left leg became caught at the end of a moving walkway and she was sucked into the gear’s end of the machine.
During a press conference, airport director Karant Thanakuljeerapat revealed that a medical team there had to cut her left leg off above the knee to free her from the walkway.
