You Can Now Take a Bus From India to London

In what might be the most ultimate road trip ever, Adventures Overland has announced they will be launching a hop-on hop-off bus service from the Indian capital of New Delhi to London in the UK.

Spanning over 4,000 miles and taking approximately 70 days to complete, the route will take passengers through 18 countries, including Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, and Belgium, Newsweek reports.

Despite the $20,185 bus fare, Newsweek reports the company has been inundated with requests for further information since announcing the new itinerary on Instagram.

“The bus is being customized to add all the necessities, comforts, and luxuries like high-speed wi-fi, powerful air-conditioning [and] beverages on board to make the journey comfortable,” Aventures Overland co-founder Tushar Agarwal told Newsweek. “Every single route in each country has been vetted to ensure that the journey is seamless. We take charge of documentation, paperwork, visas, and permits to ensure that the entire focus of participants is on experiencing the journey.”

‘As part of the journey, you will explore thousands of pagodas in Myanmar, meet rare species of Giant Pandas in Chengdu, hike the Great Wall of China, visit the historic cities of Bukhara, Tashkent & Samarkand in Uzbekistan, and cruise on the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan,” the company shares on their website. “You will unwind in historic European cities such as Moscow, Vilnius, Prague, Brussels and Frankfurt before concluding the journey in London. After reaching London, the bus will embark on its maiden journey back home taking the same route to reach India.”

The journey will embark from India in May, 2021.
