Egypt is making it easier and more affordable for remote workers to stay long-term in the country in a bid to boost tourism.
According to TravelOffPath, Egypt has just announced a new five-year, affordable visa for certain types of travelers that will soon go into effect.
The news marks the first time the country has offered a visa allowing tourists to stay longer than a year.
While Egypt has yet to announce an opening date for visa applications, TravelOffPath reports that the 5-year visa application fee will be $700 and allow multiple entries into the country. Applicants must be over the age of 16 and be from a list of 180 approved countries.
