India’s Jet Airways Give Free Lifetime Flights to Baby Born Mid-Air

A baby born mid-air on one of India’s Jet Airways flights has been gifted an unusual baby present – a lifetime of free flights courtesy of the airline.

The crew and a medically trained passenger helped deliver the little tot during a flight from Saudi Arabia to India. At an altitude of 35,000 the mom went into premature labor – the first time ever a baby has been born during one of Jet Airways flights.

Apparently mom and her baby boy are both doing well. Jet Airways released a statement saying, “Jet Airways commends its crew for their response and promptness that saw them successfully translate their training into life saving action.”

The company also extended gratitude to the passenger who helped the crew – nurse Mini Wilson.
