Universal Orlando to Permanently Close Some Kid-Friendly Attractions

Universal Orlando will shut down at least five attractions to make way for some “new family entertainment.”
In an announcement on Universal Orlando’s Twitter page, the company revealed it would permanently close Fievel’s Playland, Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, Curious George Goes to Town, DreamWorks Destination, and Shrek and Donkey’s Meet & Greet on January 15, 2023.

Universal Orlando revealed the closed attractions will be replaced by “exciting new family entertainment that will immerse guests in the adventures of beloved characters.”

According to Deadline, rumored replacements include possible Pokémon, Trolls, or Secret Life of Pets themed attractions.
