Disney Apologizes After Employee Sabotages Marriage Proposal

Disneyland Paris is issuing an apology after an employee interrupted a marriage proposal.

The thwarted marriage proposal – which has now gone viral – was reportedly interrupted by an employee just as the man got down on one knee.
According to numerous media outlets, the video shows the man on bended knee in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris. As he is about to propose, an employee whips the ring box out of the man’s hand and escorts the beleaguered couple off the platform, ruining the special moment.

Deadline reports the man reportedly asked permission from a different employee before mounting the platform, which is normally used for the fireworks display.

Disneyland Paris issued a statement to Newsweek, revealing, “We regret how this was handled. We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right.”
